Greetings friends! We have been busy preparing our new range of British buses from the 1950s and 60s. We call this series 'Glory Days'. They were the last development of the traditional layout of bus, before their engines moved to the back. These buses also marked the end of many municipal bus fleets which were to be absorbed into PTEs in the 1960s.
These are the buses I remember growing up with. Going to school, or into town for shopping or entertainment. Later, going on trips with my first girlfriend and then to university. It has certainly been a nostalgic trip preparing these models, even down to the adverts reminiscent of the times. However, a drop in the value of the pound has meant a sudden increase in the price. We have had to postpone production until the situation improves. However, this does give us the opportunity to try to raise funds in case of future emergencies. So, if you would like to invest in our models, take a look at our website. We need your support now to make sure that production can go ahead. |
