Hello from Forward Models

It has been quiet here at Forward Models for the last year or so. But we have been planning our new series of 'tin fronts' and we have started to advertise in 'Buses' again. This blog is part of a slightly re-vamped website. The only new bus models are new destinations on the BCT tin fronts but you might like our new range of weathered code 3 repaints of WW1 models. If you contact us, I promise to try and respond.

I cannot stop various spam messages which seem to offer compliments but are just an excuse to get noticed. I am sorry becasue it makes this website look boring.
However, I DO appreciate your genuine comments and reminiscences, even if I do not reply very quickly. Please keep in touch! If you would like a face to face meeting, come to the Forward Association 'Meet & Greet' event on 18 August at Aston Manor Road Transport Museum in Aldridge. Free entry to members and supporters.

Sorry!

Thanks to all who have contacted this website. I am sorry I have not been able to reply to all posts. I am, to put it mildly, in it up to my neck...
My excuse is that this business has grown out of hand since I started. I only wanted a handful of models when I started in February 2011 but by April 2013 I would have handled over 8,000! And another 4,000 in the pipeline. Perhaps I should have taken on more staff but the banks have been absolutley c**p over financial support. Despite the new schemes to help new businesses it is impossible to get funding from them.

Welcome to 'The Forward Association' bus blog

Presenting a blog devoted to the Birmingham bus! An esoteric subject perhaps but not to thousands of people like me who grew up in the city. I am an ex-pat, living in London. I offer this as a forum for people like me who left, those who never left, and those who made it their home.
