Forward Models - Celebrating the 'Birmingham Standard' bus
Forward Models
(Birmingham) Limited

Have you noticed how nobody has produced a decent model of a Birmingham Standard bus? And have you seen the mess that some people have made of the exquisite blackberry and primrose livery of BCT? I almost dare not mention the AEC RT in blue and white(!) produced by one manufacturer.

I have set up Forward Models to produce a decent model in the correct colours. You can show your support by joining The Forward Association - or even buying a bond (click on links opposite). By April this year, ten models will be available.

Two models (of 2533 and 2548) are sold to support the bus preservation groups that saved them and the museums where they can be seen. These PREMIUM MUSEUM EDITIONS are only available from the museums (or from Forward Models) to make sure that proceeds go towards bus preservation.

Birmingham City Coat of Arms (1950). On a blue background - as seen on Birmingham buses. We take our name from the motto underneath.
